Lindsay Birckhead

Administrator Lindsay D. Birckhead began her career with the Wintergreen Police Department in August of 2004. She was appointed to the rank of Supervisor in January 2014 and to the position of Support Services Bureau Commander in January 2018. She is tasked with making sure all dispatchers are cross trained as call-takers, police and fire/rescue dispatchers.

Administrator Birckhead’s academic achievements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a minor in Marketing from Old Dominion University. Prior to working with the Wintergreen Police Department she was with Gannett Fleming as a Proposal Specialist with their Marketing department. Outside of work, she enjoys recreational and family activities.
