If you are a retired law enforcement officer or a law enforcement officer considering retirement with Virginia DCJS certification as a law enforcement officer, the Wintergreen Police Department would like talk to you. We will also consider current Virginia DCJS Certified Officers as well as non-certified applicants (depending on the time as it relates to the next start of an academy class).

The Wintergreen Police Department is a non-VRS retirement agency, which would not affect Virginia State retirement benefits; however, we are participants in the Virginia Line of Duty Act.
