Amanda Russ

Amanda Russ joined the Wintergreen Police Department in April 2024 as a Communications Officer. In this role, she served as a primary point of contact for the department, supporting daily operations, public communications, and community engagement.

On January 20, 2026, Amanda was appointed the department’s Accreditation Manager, where she oversees the department’s compliance with accreditation standards and assists with policy development, documentation, and ongoing assessments. She works closely with department administration to ensure professional standards are maintained and continuously improved upon.

Amanda is dedicated to supporting both the department and community through clear communication, organization, and a strong commitment to professionalism in law enforcement.
